Welcome to the (under construction) website of SME Toronto Chapter 26. Please register for both sides of this website; each of which runs a different software system. Use your real name, but two different passwords for these two accounts. To begin, you will have lower-level permissions, until we can confirm you are an SME Member in good standing; when your account will be upgraded across ‘Making It in .Ca’.
Presently, you are seeing the ‘front end’, which is optimized for publishing. This software system is the very popular ‘WordPress’, and you can register for your WordPress ‘publishing’ account here.
The second (completely separate) system, is the premium discussion forum software, phpBB. By registering and logging-in, you will see special members-only content and discussions that are not visible to casual visitors. SME Chapter Board Members and Volunteers will also find sub-forums to help them collaborate and conduct chapter operations. You can register for your phpBB Forum ‘discussion’ account here.
About this WebsiteThe Executive Board of SME Toronto Chapter 26 have established this website using two separate technical systems, to better serve our dear members (and prospects), while "not putting all of our eggs into one basket". Because these two systems function completely separately, each one is essentially insulated from the other. Each system is optimized for different purposes.
This website is not intended to replace our ‘Home Site’.

The goal of SME’s Toronto Chapter 26 is to provide the manufacturing communities around Toronto and beyond with opportunities for education, communication and information-sharing through our workshops, plant tours, presentations, networking and social events.
